I don’t know about you, but I love days like this especially when we are journey elsewhere for the big feast. Days like this give one a moment to slow down and maybe even stop as work and other responsibilities push one along life’s Möbius strip of tasks and chores. Some use TV stories or reading for their moment, but there is something about Music as it just traps a listener in its beauty and form. Alinoe’s Rigin (Bump Foot) was what I needed at this particular moment, a simple and pastel-like electronic album. With Rigin, Piotr Parol aka Alinoe shows a mastery of the classic electronica and ambient-style — this is my comfort food of music —, quite enjoyable.
