In the coldness that is Minnesota, experimental musicians get together every month for the iQuit series at the Rogue Buddha gallery. Rogues (test tube) is a live recording of experimental improvisation by Bryce Beverlin II, Elizabeth Draper and Timothy Glenn. Released almost 5 years later after it was recorded, Rogues stands the test of time with an engrossing combination of percussion, bass and laptop music. If one is not fond of experimental improvisation music, and I know that there are a few of you out there, Rogues just might be the album for you as you might not find it as jilted or overly odd(?) as other releases you may have come across in the past. Or, you may find it too strange which would leave me to believe that I am thoroughly immersed in this exciting genre now.
Track: 01. Rogues (mp3).
