Okay, I’m making a big assumption here, but my guess is that the electronic music artist I know as Xarhope is indeed Xarhope on the Road. That said, I always enjoy Xarhope’s work, he makes me rethink electronic music everytime I listen to his work. So it should not be suprising that a field recording work like Cario Mall (Green Field Recordings) would also push my understanding of what a field recording is. In general, Cario Mall is a shit recording, the levels are all pegged. However, after several listens, I think that by blasting the levels, Xarhope is conveying the discombobulated ambience of the mall.
