I have to admit, I can’t get enough of the netlabel Abracadabra Recordings — this is their third album I have reviewed. Release after release of some very good stuff, 44 releases in a year, and Nik Snake F‘s Carma is no exception. Carma is described as IDM, though this could be limiting for first time listeners. Like any good electronic album, each track is of its own, unlabel-able so to speak. The album is quite strong all the way through, but for a taste, let me recommend the tracks “Train to California” or “Carma”.
Tracks: 1. Intro, 2. Altai, 3. Kavkaz, 4. Tea drunkard, 5. Train to California, 6. Projekt Venus, 7. Vanilla, 8. Carm, 9. Delfinium, and 10. Level ap (The end).
